Merideth is a great Elphaba and has a great voice. This was the performance where the fire alarm goes off when No Good Deed starts. Merideth keeps going through half the song, while the alarms and lights are flickering. Finally an announcement was made and she walked off stage in character. The show resumes after the evactuation where she left off.

Most of the show is here, but the camera died during the banishment of the Wizard! There is also a lot of obstruction from the mezzanine bar. Everything from the beginning until Fiyero's solo of Dancing Through Life is obstructed by the mezzanine bar. After that, there is obstruction from it, but not as much. Still captures Merideth very well. Once again, spotlight washout because of the camera. Act II the camera was in sceneric mode so all the faces and costumes are blurry. You can see the sets very well though. Even though there are problems with the camera and the mezzanine bar obstructs, this is the first non-highlights, almost full show of Merideth! Act I is full screen, but Act II is wide screen.

First act heavy with obstructions and blackouts; second act is much better and has very few issues with a head in the way; some spotlight washout but a brighter setting on the tapers camera made the darker scenes easier to see; clear sound but the mix at the theatre was a little off, so some of the percussion sounds louder than it should.

First DVD of Chandra as Glinda. There are a couple very short blackouts during No One Mourns the Wicked, and most of Room Assignments is also blacked out, but the rest of the show is there. There are a couple heads at the bottom, especially in wide shots, but they're not too distracting. Unfortunately this was one of the shakier masters, but it's still very watchable. There's also a little washout here and there, but nothing major. The sound is excellent as always. Rating: B+

A bit shaky overall, but very watchable. Filmed with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups, some washout here and there, and the sound is excellent.
